"Your face is so pretty...You should be in a show!"
This out of the blue statement tickled me and I burst out laughing.
And with a slight southern drawl and her hand clutched over her heart, Ella responded to my reaction,
"You just made my day!"
In a day or so, I'll post our Thanksgiving going-ons and share my theory on why artificial Christmas trees were invented, but for now, there are dishes to do, coffee to make, and a bed calling my name.
Awww...I just read what you wrote on Multiples and More. I just about had a heart attack at the measuring 54 weeks part. Holy Cow! I was all uncomfortable when I measured 36 weeks!
ReplyDeleteYour girls are adorable! And thank you for the mention of following my blog!
HI! I just wandered over from Multiples and More, too. I joined the site yesterday as I will be the mama of twins (due May 9) and I was looking to read stuff written by moms who have already been-there-done-that. I also have a five year old son and a three year old daughter, two large dogs, a garage cat, twenty chickens, and a full-time job. And a wonderful hubby -- which is a really good thing.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter sounds precious and very funny -- every mom should get such a lovely compliment every day!
